UPTET 2023 Notification & Basic Details

We expect that this year also, lakhs a number of applicants to appear for the UPTET Exam. Many numbers of applicants, who will successfully qualify for the exam will be eligible to apply for recruitment Teachers in the Uttar Pradesh government schools. To get a job in UP Private and Government school, UPTET is compulsory for candidates to either qualify for the UPTET.

Eligibility Criteria for UPTET 2023

Education Qualification

Primary Teacher (Class 1st-5th)

Candidates must have Senior Secondary with 50% marks and pass or appear in the 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education

OR

Applicants passed Senior Secondary with 50% marks and passed or appeared in the final year of 4 years of Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.A.Ed.)

OR

Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary with 50% marks and passed or appeared in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education)

OR

Aspirants must have passed their Graduation degree and passed & appearing in 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education and Graduation + B.Ed. final year appearing & passed applicants can apply also for this Test.

Upper Primary Teacher (Class 6th-8th)

Candidates must have Graduation and passed or appear in the final year of 2 Years Diploma in Elementary Education

OR

Applicants have passed Graduation with 50% marks and passed or appeared in 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)

OR

Candidates have passed Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appeared in 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), in accordance with the NCTE.

OR

Aspirants Passed Senior Secondary with 50% marks and passed or appeared in the final year of 4 years B.A.Ed.

OR

Candidates must be passed Senior Secondary with 50% marks and passed or appear in the final year of 4 years of B.A/B.S.Eds. Or B.A.Ed./B.S.Eds.

OR

Applicants have passed Graduation with 50% marks and passed or appeared in 1 year B.Ed.

Age Limit for UPTET 2023

• Minimum Age Limit: 18 Years
• Maximum Age Limit: N/A

UPTET Application Fee for Paper-1/Paper-2 Category Wise

• UR/OBC: Rs. 600/-
• SC/ST: Rs. 400/-
• PwD: Rs. 100/-

UPTET Application Fee for both Papers

• UR/OBC: Rs 1200/-
• SC/ST: Rs 800/-
• PwD: Rs 200/-
