University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test Exam Schedule-
After releasing the notification eligible candidates can apply between September 2023 to October 2023. Eligibilty Criteria for UGC NET December 2023-
It is notified the candidates who are going to apply for the UGC NET Exam 2023 must complete their post-graduation with more than 55 % marks. Those candidates who belong to reserved categories must have completed post-graduation with 50% marks. No age limit was kept for this. however, the candidates applying for the UGC NET Examination for JRF your age no more than 30 years old at the time of applying.
National Eligibility Test Exam Pattern-
The exam conducted in different shifts and the online examination on the computer through CBT mode. There will be two papers – paper 1 and paper 2. Paper 1 asks you 50 questions same as paper 2. Candidates get 2 marks for each correct answer. There is no negative marking in the UGC NET exam 2023. Paper 1 involves the questions related to reasoning and teacher ability and paper 2 involves the specific subject that you have chosen during registration. You have to complete both papers in 3 hours.
