The National Testing Agency has announced the Entrance Test for those students who want to be admitted to top universities regarding Ph.D. studies. Candidates must check their eligibility, those who have successfully completed their postgraduate studies can appear in the NTA Ph.D. entrance exam. The exam will be conducted in various centres across the country.
The application has started from 9 August 2023 to 15 September 2023. This is a big opportunity for all eligible students to make their future bright in the top universities. Students can apply as soon as possible without any delay. Registration is available on the official website at phd-entrance.samarth.ac.in.
If any case, there is any mistake in the application form, then the authority will open the correction form on 16 September 2023, whose errors will be corrected. Candidates can make changes in the application form till 17 September 2023 only.

Eligibility Criteria for NTA PHD Entrance Exam 2023-
- Education & Qualification- Those candidates who have successfully completed the postgraduate studies or equivalent examination can appear in the NTA Ph.D. entrance exam.
- Age Limit- The National Testing Agency has not declared the specific age criteria for candidates appearing in the Ph.D. Entrance Test 2023.
- Age Criteria of Respective University- While there is no age restriction by NTA, whenever the students intend to join they meet the age criteria set by the specific university.
- University Eligibility Criteria- One thing is to notify the participating candidates if they are passed in the entrance exam admission is not guaranteed. candidates face the university eligibility criteria which is set by the university.
- Universities Policies and Criteria- Admission policies for DU, JNU, BBAU, and BBHU universities through the Ph.D. entrance test will encompass factors such as category, quota, reservations, relaxations, subject combinations, qualifications, and many more.

Exam Pattern of Ph. D Entrance Test-
- Mode of Exam- Computer-based Test
- Medium of Question Paper- English Medium
- Question Paper Structure- The question paper is divided into two sections- Research Methodology and Subject Specific.
- Both the question papers will have multiple choice questions of 100 marks in English medium.
- All questions are necessary.
- Time Duration- 3 hours.
- candidates selected a minimum of 3 courses.
- Marking Scheme- Candidates get 4 marks for each correct answer and 1 mark divided for each incorrect answer.
